The Great Orion Nebula

I large diffuse nebula, found as the middle star in the sword of Orion.

It is the closest region of star formation to Earth.
It is well studied for the formation of stars planetary systems from the
collapsing clouds and dust.
With the Running Man nebula, above the Orion Nebula.

It is rising in the early morning skies.

From the moonless, light polluted backyard.
