I am whipped. The fresh air and projects are wiping me out. Did an early morning bird count, and some trail work today. Some very large willows blew over a trail in the spring, but we left them so the critters could use them all season. Now that fall is here, we cut them back and chipped the branches for mulch. While I was doing a bit of low branch removal so I could get my tractor back on the trail, I heard a Hermit Thrush. I tried getting a pic just then, but it was not interested. Later this afternoon we took a stroll on the newly re-opened trail and I saw it fly across and was able to get this shot.
