After a very busy day, I went out to my deck in early evening to check if there were any deer, groundhogs, squirrels, birds, whatever in the yard. Okay? There was this woman in a wedding gown. Not really what one would expect. I stopped to do a double take. Yep, a woman in a white gown. And a man in a tux. And a photographer in casual attire. Okay? Why? I didn't know any of them. Nor did anyone ask to use our yard for a bridal shoot. Our neighbors all have their own yards of 3 acres or more. So, why our yard? And who were these people? Hopefully, the deer don't start wearing wedding gowns and come with their own photographer... Strange occurrence from my perspective.
Do things like this happen in other people's side yards that aren't their yards? Maybe we should be flattered that our yard is as pretty as a botanical garden that will charge for pro shoots like this. I really don't know what I should be thinking, beyond this was not everyday wildlife smack in the middle of the in our side yard. The whole scene occurred about 35 feet from the deck where I was standing and about 200 feet away from the street where these people would have to return to. They were in the side yard behind our house; so, it couldn't have been "by accident". Strange. Very strange. Who were these people & why our yard???
