A fortress nestled in the Langhe vineyards
For over a thousand years, Grinzane Cavour Castle—built in the 11th century—has stood atop a hill overlooking the Langhe wine-growing landscape. Over the centuries, it belonged to several noble Piedmontese families, including Count Camillo Benso di Cavour, who lived in the castle and also served as mayor of the village of Grinzane.
