Holy Trinity Church, Westward Ho!

It was a perfect day in Westward Ho! best viewed in original
many wonder about the mystery of the only town in the UK with an exclamation mark. The town was named after the Charles Kingsley's book Westward Ho! a term that was used by boatmen on the River Thames to gain attention

another much spoken of is the mystery of this house

The church's Victorian style gives it a charming and distinctive look. V

You will be pleased to hear that the house is a the start of a very long restoration. A sea wall has been built to ensure no “slippage “ occurs and now the scaffolding is up!

The house looks to be in disrepair which is a shame as it is magnificent. I wonder what the story is here. Great shot of it. V

How interesting, I had no idea there was a town named after one of Kingsley's books. A beautiful place it looks to be, too, in this lovely shot. V
