Double Pink Bicolor

For most of the summer, the flowers have been boring white singles... Today is the first time that any of these plants have started to flower a bit truer for me. However, they still seem less pink than promised. I have 6 plants in 4 different pots. The flower sizes are about 2" or mainly smaller than expected. Quick Facts (true or not) from seedman.com

Botanical Name: Zinnia elegans
Common Name: Belize Double Pink Bicolor Zinnia
Height: 12–18 inches
Bloom Size: 2½–3½ inches across
Bloom Color: Bright pink with blush, rose, and creamy bicolor markings
Bloom Season: Early summer until frost
Heat Tolerance: Excellent

Will I try to grow it again in the future? Who knows? If it consistently bloomed truer, yes. But based on my experience this past Summer, it is far from my favorite zinnia variety and too unpredictable.

It may not be as pink as you had hoped, but still quite beautiful!
