I will never forget 9/11. Around 8:50 AM, I was heading up to my office when a news flash playing in the elevator announced that a first plane had struck the World Trade Center. Shortly after my workday began, the second plane hit... Then, for weeks, a multitude of flowers were laid inside Penn Station in front of hundreds of photos of commuters who never made it home—including six who lived in my neighborhood and took the same train I did. I didn't see them again...... ~VVVVV+++~
