summer has been a warm and dry delight, yet excessively hot in some regions...hopefully hunankind gets a grip on climate change soon, or we will all be toasted alive

This is such an amazing image!
The beauty really moves me.
Most days are 100 degree F and no measurable rain in four months here in Western Oklahoma.
We are not allowed to do outdoor watering so we will probably lose all of out trees and bushes.
Big vote for your beautiful photography!

This beautiful scene of Tuscany brings back fond memories; I visited a long time ago in 1988, and again in 2003 during a summer of scorching heat that prevented us from visiting everything we had planned

Beautiful scene and photo.
We just got through two days of excessive heat. Should be cooling down for the weekend.

Love the POV! Unfortunately greed will get in the way. V

I fear we have reached beyond the point of no return. Although I believe locally we've had little change, with average temperatures for summer .being somewhat cold as usual.

Love the contrast between the old and new buildings. We have had a very hot summer here, with a number of excessive heat warnings.

A beautiful day to enjoy this Tuscany town. I just hope we are not too late to do something about climate change.

It must have been hot in Italy this Summer too. Warming in Europe will be faster and more intense than in other continents. I wouldn't say toasted alive, I would say more slowly than this like the frog in a big pan full of water on a fire. V

Pitigliano’s ancient stone town basks beneath a brilliant summer sky — a beautiful scene shadowed by everyone's concern over excessive heat and climate change...V

A fine shot. This past August was the hottest August on record.

Nicely composed shot of this Italian city. Unfortunately I wouldn’t count on that happening any time soon.
