Before my husband passed away he had an office on the lower level of our home along with internet modem and router.Now that he isw no longer here, I thought it would be a good idea to bring that equipment upstairs so I wouldn't have to go downstairs to reboot the modem when I have trouble with the internet.

Today my "computer guy" came over and moved my stuff upstairs and I am truly tickled. The new Netgear router I bought works with "Nighthawk" software that protects me from scammera. It has a bit of a learning curve, but having recently been hit by an "E-vite" scam I am happy to have the protection.

I don't really need my landline, especially since it often has static on it, but I like having it as an assistant when I have to do some input on a different phone screen than the one I'm working on because I'm always afraid I will lose it.
