Fallen tree on our block

Unlike many other trees that fell into streets (below/previous picture) during last night’s severe thunderstorm, this one fell into two houses. It’s hard to tell at this point in time how much damage the houses sustained.

must have been a huge storm.V.
Dennis Hoyne05-Sep-2026 03:03
Probably a quite shallow root system, seeing the tree is surrounded by pavement.

Ouch. That must have been a huge storm especially damaging for the owners of those houses.

Hope the houses are not too damaged. It's sad to lose a beautiful tree like that.
globalgadabout05-Sep-2026 00:28
the storm surely was severe to topple such a solid tree..

This one is even more dramatic. Hope no one got hurt. What's sarcastic is : it's all captured under a beautiful blue sky ! ~VVVVV+++~

Wow, unbelievable, nature's furry. Those trees were so beautiful, providing shade on a hot Summer day ...
