This wooden composition with drawers was made by my grandfather in 1955. It is still in the shop I run. It is a rare and collectible piece that is still functional.

Interesting to see this in Greece. There are millions of them in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, all made of wood, used by the herbal doctors. Each drawer is for one kind of herb, labelled on the outside. Those used by the herbal doctors may not be built so high, for easy access. I haven't seen anyone reaching the high drawers on a long ladder. Yes, it's functional. Nice shot ! ~VVVVV~
