My life in the country (volunteers) , and in the suburbs , always had pumper trucks like this in use. The city had hook and ladders for the higher floors.
Thanks, Jim. Feel free to have at it. I had other plans for the shot before the Kroger truck parked next to the fire truck. Ironically, the two were blocking (you guessed it) a fire lane. Still, I do feel safer when members of the fire department are shopping.
So now we know Traveller is a pumper guy. I would have guessed hook-and-ladder.
