In the core of our Milky way in the constellation Sagittarius.

Imaged on a Moonless night at Rancho Caņada del Oro Open Space Preserve.

It consists of the red hydrogen gases and the bluish oxygen gases.
It was discovered by Charles Messier on June 5, 1764
