A look back at the history of the Hotel Goldener Greif: The building was first mentioned in a document in 1270. Even then, the guest was the centre of attention.
The origins of our hotel, which has been family-owned since 1897, lie in an old Tyrolean inn.
After the occupation, the property was remodelled and extended from 1954 to 1958. This renovation gave the former inn its current purpose. Extensive restoration work with great attention to detail transformed the inn into a four-star hotel in the centre of Kitzbühel.
