I have been stalking this lizard for several weeks now in my backyard. I know where it lives but it's skittish. It finally let me get close enough for this shot today.
This is a wonderful close-up of the elusive Sagebrush Lizard, revealing the intricate textures of its scales, powerful claws and alert golden eye. Its earthy colours blends beautifully with the lichen-covered rock.....Patience certainly paid off! V
