Being about 30 feet up under the eave of our back porch we somehow missed this bit of construction.
Now bigger than a basket ball it has about two more months to get bigger before the girls start running out of food for their young charges.
That's when a couple of hundred female wasps get really irritated. Glad they are up so high; shouldn't be a safety issue.
I'll have to wait out a couple of freezes before I dare take it down.
