This is the 13th to 15th-century "Golden Table" altarpiece from Minden Cathedral (Minden is a town near Hanover).
The reredos is crafted from oak wood and features a relief sculpture depicting the Coronation of the Virgin and various apostles.
The structure comprises a base dating from around 1220 and an upper portion added around 1425.
