Miglionico - Via Pietro Silvia

Miglionico, Basilicata, Southern Italy

Monumento ai Caduti di Miglionico (Monument to the Fallen) - the war memorial dedicated to local soldiers who died during World War I and subsequent conflicts.
Located near Piazza Castello.
Chiesa Madonna del Carmineo Purgatorio (Church of Purgatory), 17th century, at Via Pietro Sivilia.
The belltower was later turned into clock tower.

Miglionico is one of I Borghi pił belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").
It is located in the middle Bradano valley, and stands on a hill between the Bradano and Basento rivers in the central-eastern part of the province of Matera.
The origins of Miglionico are remote, probably dating back to an Enotrian city, as evidenced by tombs and vases, found in its territory, dating back to the 6th century BC.

You have nicely distinguished two similar light colours beige and off white.
