Romanesque belltower of 11th - 12th centuries and features ancient bas-reliefs.

The Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, also known as the church of San Francesco, is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
Constructed in the 12th century, the church exemplifies Romanesque architecture typical of medieval southern Italy.
The church is attached to a small Franciscan convent.
