No bartender, waiter, or even customer appears in this well-composed photo of a beautifully decorated space; the focus is on showcasing the restaurant's elegant setting, with a stylishly designed menu placed in the foreground — a clear sign that this is no ordinary café.
Since the early 20th century, the venue has served various purposes: a bookstore, a dairy shop, and—from 1926 onwards—a cabaret and restaurant. Through successive renovations, the original structural beams and woodwork have been preserved. The current management, in place since 1987, La Crémaillère 1900 has also maintained the "Belle Époque" style, evoking the atmosphere from the 1900s for the patrons. ~VVVVV++~
