The front section of the property was built in a rich eclectic style in 1892 (restored in 2007). The monumental building (known by the historical name Villa Magnum Gaudium or Villa Derks) is a former manor farm.
Over the past decades, the property has been fully renovated in a historical style and modernized into a luxury residential and commercial location with a coach house/guest accommodation on the grounds.

The property holds the protected status of a National Monument.
