Jellyfish

I am not sure if this is a baby or a bit broken from a larger one.
They were many washed up on the beach after a storm.

That looks like a Portuguese Man of War to me. I was stung by one of those in Florida when I was about five years old. Very pain sting and I had the scars on my arms for years. Stay away from them. It’s a cool photo though!

I guess this is not an ideal place for swimming? V

Nice angle and capture. I believe I saw these walking the beach in Florida.

As long as you know to stay way the hell away from those things. I'm not even kidding on this one. Generally the ones with stingers are out in the warmer months (say, October to April/May) and generally the worst ones are further north than you (say, around Geraldton and upwards), but given the pain level that the little sods can inflict if you come across the wrong type I work off the assumption that all of them are dangerous. (One of the nice things about Scotland is that you don't have that problem, though I hear that it's best not to annoy a Mackerel if it's already in a bad mood.)

It's a nice shot of the textures, but if it were me I'd want an extra "1" in front of the focal length.
