The Etive River-Along Side of Etive Road (Skyfall Road)

Glencoe, Scotland

The Etive River runs near the Etive Road for much of the 12 mile dive to Loch Etive. You can see a hint of the road in the distance on the left side of this image. The Etive Road is also known as the "Skyfall Road" from the James Bond movie "Skyfall". The movie has proven to be a major draw for driving this road with many visitors even stopping and posing at the overlook where Daniel Craig as James Bond and M (Judi Dench), stop for the view of the valley. This view is looking up stream about halfway to the Loch.

Love the rugged terrain. The clarity and focus really makes the textures of the rocks stand out.
