a captivating image...they do not seem particularly weloming...perhaps they are watching in frustration as casually dressed people are marching past theiir brasserie..
The expressions of the two men are captured to perfection. The one on the left looks more worried, a touch nervous about what he sees. The one on the right appears more seasoned; he displays a patient attitude—the "What can you do?" sort—or conveys a sense of resigned helplessness: "Not this again." At the time, Paris was the scene of numerous gatherings and demonstrations, ranging from shows of support for Ukraine, and reacting to the parliamentary no-confidence votes. The political tension then peaking in the capital may well have disrupted traffic near the restaurant. This remarkably sharp image, taken with an iPhone, is impressive: the hooks, the sign, the reflections, and the outlines of the men's black suits are all perfectly distinct—they don't look like two people sharing a single, massive black jacket. Even the four small buttons on the left-hand man's sleeve are visible. That is what allows the details of their faces to stand out so clearly. ~VVVVV+~
