Smithsonian ready for America’s 250th anniversary

The Smithsonian’s Arts and Industries Building, opened in 1881, is all decked out for the country’s semiquincentennial of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2026. At least their banner doesn’t mention any specific person as being the center of the celebration.
