St.John's Scottish Episcopalian Church, Ballachulish

Ballachulish, Scotland

After driving by this church on a number of occasions on our way from Fort William to Glencoe, my son Paul and I decided to stop for photographs early one evening. I loved the timeless beauty of this church surrounded by the historic graveyard. Without a doubt Scotland's rich historical past continues play a huge role in present day Scotland. I am not sure they can really be separated nor should they.

What a great find and beautiful shot. Was the church open to walk in? I would love to see the inside of this old church. Thank you for sharing. V

A beautiful and peaceful setting. Like all the wildflowers around the grave sites. Beautifully captured.
