Common mallow, cheeses, high mallow, tall mallow, ślaz dziki (Malva sylvestris).
It is often grown as an ornamental plant for its attractive flowers. The young leaves and shoots are edible raw or cooked. Malva sylvestris has traditionally been used around the world as a wild food plant, from the Mediterranean and Middle East. It is also used for medicinal purposes as a protective and emollient agent, externally and internally, in nasal catarrh and inflammation of the respiratory tract.
