The farmhouse was built as a traditional agricultural dwelling with an attached farm section. It features a large, sloping thatched hipped roof with an owl board (the triangular wooden hatch at the top of the roof for ventilation and owls).

The large, dark green doors (rear barn doors) formerly provided access for horse and carriage.
Today, the property is used for residential purposes.
