Upon arriving in the Lower Quarter via Bretones Street, you'll find the charming Plaza de San Roque and its picturesque Church of Our Lady of the Forsaken, two other must-see places in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. After leaving the church and taking a photo of the lovely adjacent street, Calle de la Virgen de la Estrella, you can sit at one of the terraces in the plaza and enjoy a glass of wine.
From Plaza de San Roque, you can stroll along the bustling Calle Ancha until you reach the Parish Church of Santo Domingo, a Renaissance-style stone church that is also one of the most beautiful in the city.
