This beautiful church is a short walk from the Glenfinnan Viaduct also called by some the "Harry Potter Bridge" used by the Hogwarts Express. We walked up to this church after visiting the Glenfinnan Viaduct on a day that was raining heavily and the "Jacobite Steam Train" was not running. Less than ideal timing. Even so, I was amazed at the size of the crowd visiting the Viaduct and I suspect many were Harry Potter fans. The Loch behind this church is Loch Shiel and is located about 30 minutes from Fort William. This church is just one of many incredibly beautiful stone historic churches we saw in the rural Scotland.
