Better Times 90s 🎲🎲

People packed the Las Vegas Strip shoulder to shoulder that night… all waiting to see something the city had never attempted before.

On October 27, 1993, Treasure Island officially unveiled its massive pirate battle show outside the casino, drawing huge crowds onto the Strip as explosions, fire effects, and sinking ships transformed the sidewalk into a giant live spectacle. Tourists stopped traffic just to watch the performance unfold in front of them.

For many visitors, it became one of the defining memories of 1990s Las Vegas — standing outside under the neon lights watching an entire pirate battle erupt in the middle of the Strip. The attraction quickly became one of the city’s most recognizable public shows.

Because old Vegas didn’t just entertain people… it made them feel like they were standing inside the show itself.
