We decided to take out Mexican food today, rather than fight the crowds of dining in.
That didn't work out super well. Our dinner pickup time was scheduled for 6:30 PM. The local Mexican restaurant, however, was running far behind. There was a 90-minute wait for pick up, after my husband arrived. All had been paid for in advance early this morning. Thus, the only option was to wait for our order. Because it was too full to wait inside, the restaurant parking lot was full of people milling around, waiting for their takeout orders. Sheer chaos. Luckily, the rain - earlier in the day - had stopped...
