The Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Charity is the work of the 7th Duke Pérez de Guzmán and his wife, Ana de Silva, whose remains rest in the church.
Built between 1609 and 1612, it is the headquarters of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Charity, Patron Saint of Sanlúcar de Barrameda .
The church was designed by Valdelvira and is attached to what was then the San Pedro Women's Hospital.
It features two façades and a bell tower.
Inside, two Baroque altar frontals in American silver and the Mannerist-style main altarpiece stand out, along with 17th-century Sevillian sculptures representing the Holy Jesus of Nazareth, Our Lady of Sorrows, and Jesus of Humility and Patience.
