This image was taken on our last morning visiting the highlands before driving to Killin, Scotland. The changing weather that morning made for a wonderful shoot and well worth getting up before sunrise. The previous morning we dealt dark heavy cloud cover and rain so we just tried again on this morning. The constant changing of the weather in the highlands provides so many amazing moods if you are willing to be patient and have the time to do so. This capture was photographed with my new Sony RX-100 Vll which I am still learning to use but so far have been pleased with the results for a small pocket camera. Photographing the same scenes with the Sony and my Canon 5D Mark 4 has been interesting but I am very pleased with the addition of the Sony as a second camera when traveling light.
