An interesting feature of the cathedral is its choir; it is located towards the foot of the church, in the central nave, in front of the main altar. The choir stalls and the two organs are true works of art ; the one to the left of the choir originally belonged to the Church of Santa Cruz, or the old cathedral. Sandra Massa Santos is the current organist. Cádiz Cathedral possesses an extensive musical archive with works by composers such as Juan Domingo Vidal , Zabala, Padilla, García Fajer , Delgado, and Gálvez, and even by composers who were not part of its musical chapel, as is the case with Pedro Rabassa . Currently, the Cádiz Cathedral's "Virelay" music chapel, under the direction of Jorge E. García Ortega, is recovering many of these works, most of which were only performed on their premiere day for services. They are also responsible for the musical portion of religious services. They have released four albums, all of which are dedicated to the choirmasters of the Cadiz Cathedral and their musical work there.
