I was asked about heat haze impact on images. This is a mildly cropped image on a lens that is equivalent to the FOV of a FF camera at 600mm focal length. So, probably equivalent to 800mm focal length. Air temp was 27C and obviously higher on the black tarmac runway. This image represents worst case, as close to the ground. Astrophotographers have the same problem even though night time usage but thermal currents create this "distortion". I quite like the painterly look
