I have been under low flying Concord, I certainly agree, very loud and that is one thing that ended it's existence.

The Concord flew directly above my house when it was landing at London airport.
It was loud, very very loud.
It surprised me how many times over the years It did not land for some reason and went around. I knew that because of the short time taken before it flew over my house for the second time.
Bloody hell it was loud. But beautiful.
