Miles of mortar free rock walls from the East to West sides of the San Francisco bay.
With no historical record of who or why they were built.

Recent dating techniques date them from the 1850-1880 by emigrant ranchers to corral their cattle.

Shot at Santa Teresa County Park, with my camera over the barbed wire fence.
