‘Titanic’ statue of Trump and Epstein

Erected on the National Mall by anonymous artists who go by the name “The Secret Handshake,” this statue, their third such work, depicts Donald Trump standing behind Jeffrey Epstein on a replica of the bow of the ill-fated Titanic in the same pose as the movie’s lead characters, Jack and Rose.

The plaque on the statue’s base reads:

“The tragic love story between Jack and Rose was built on luxurious travel, raucous parties, and secret nude sketches.

“This monument honors the bond between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, a friendship seemingly built on luxurious travel, raucous parties and secret nude sketches.”

An image that speaks for itself especially if the viewer has seen the movie Titanic. Not much I can say except art often reflects life. Great clarity in this capture and I am referring to the clarity and detail of the image since great lengths are being taken to distort factual reality. V

Thanks for the picture! I had heard about it - and the whole series of sculptures. I am quite sure it will not remain there for too long. Even though they have a permit.....

How long will that statue be allowed to stand?

Pour moi, ils ne méritent pas une oeuvre d'art.... V
