It's a striking portrait of a familiar face, though Nadine and I have never met. I feel like I've known her for a few years, but as a costume designer and model for the Venice Carnival, a distant acquaintance. After carefully observing this photograph, I realize that the various masks she owns and has worn are merely facades. Her gaze may seem alert and aloof, but I also find it imbued with compassion. Behind the mask, I see a face of great character, tender yet strong; distant yet kind; perplexed yet determined. Thanks for the photo, Alain ! ~VVVVV+~
For me this is a mysterious and fascinating world of mystery, intrigue and beauty. What makes this an exceptional capture beyond the clarity, details and colors is the masterful composition and riveting eye contact. It is as if she is looking into your soul. VVV+++
