There is something about the sympathetic eyes of this Snowy as it flies past me.

Canon EOS Mark III with the superb 500 f/4 lens, handheld as usual @ 1/1000, f/14, ISO 400 with a +0.3 exposure compensation.

I have to be content with the bland cold light/colours, but, at least the eyes are open and yellow, despite a slight lack of sharpness in the left one.
