Glacier National Park Of Canada

Glacier National Park of Canada

One of the more difficult parks to see and visit in Canada is Glacier National Park of Canada. This image is a roadside view since we were passing through Glacier when driving from Revelstoke to Lake Louise. Fully appreciating Glacier National Park of Canada requires some very rugged and serious backcountry hiking and camping. We were not prepared for this plus due to the short length of time we had for this visit to Canada, we would not have had time. My son Paul and his wife Heather have hiked into the Glacier National Park of Canada backcountry during past trips and Paul has captured some amazing images.

I like this mountain landscape and the skillful composition of your image.
The contrasts of levels and colors between the clouds, the rough peaks and the trees with rich tones, bring a lot to this remarkable image. BV.

A powerful image with those rugged peaks and the wonderful colors of the trees. The clouds and blue sky top it off beautifully. V

Love the amazing light and how the organic nature of the trees contrasts with the inorganic of the rock mountains. The diagonal comp works well, especially with the prominent tree in the right lower corner anchoring the slope.

The way the peaks rise so sharply makes the whole landscape feel alive and powerful.....
and the ruggedness and steep slopes give such a dramatic, awe-inspiring sense of scale too...
Excellent capture and exactly how a true glacier landscape should feel......V

Strikingly steep mountain masterfully captured ! It appears like a rocky wall dashing up vertically. Thank you for sharing your photo and your experience. ~VVVV~
