A Partial View Of My Neighbor's House

Blacksburg, Virginia

Our recent snows (two in one week which is very rare for us) provided a great opportunity to try out my new Sony RX100 Vll. I did a small amount of cropping but this image is the result of my first experience with my new Sony pocket camera. I think this Sony pocket camera is going to work out fine for what I need. It fills a gap in my current inventory of cameras especially when I don't want to carry a DSLR.

A secure refuge is right around the corner behind the vegetation. Nice composition, sugared in snow. V

certainly an attractive scene...the Sony seems to have delivered well...a pocket camera is invaluable and means you always have a shooting option no matter where you go..

I think your new Sony is a hit, Dave. This has wonderful detail and tonal separation, even in the snow, which is always tricky to capture. Great composition too. We're just the opposite here; practically no snow when we usually have a quite a bit by this time of the year. ~BV~
