Miss Cheeky Fox….

Sadly a neighbor at the other end of our street had the three remaining foxes trapped and shot this was early summer 2024 but we didn’t hear about it till a few months later…we were devastated and still are. …I will never forgive such a cold hearted excuse for a human being to do such an evil act just because the foxes walked in his garden…so the words below are from February winter 2024….


Had a surprise this lunchtime when Cheeky arrived in our garden…we haven’t seen her for 5 days and it’s usually early morning but never in the day…Wherever she is living now I am happy to say she looks happy and healthy…occasionally she stays in our neighborhood for 2 or 3 days…She waited patiently sitting in my huge white plant pot until I came out with our dogs Charlie and Jack…so funny to watch her happy little dance as we begin our walk to the forest…she runs in front of us and turns around every few steps to make sure we are following her….Charlie and Jack are so good and stand behind me whilst I put the food out for our foxy friend…Cheeky stands so near to me eagerly waiting to eat…we watched her for a few minutes happily tucking into the dog food and a few treats…
