The Mountain Quest Inn is a wonderful inn located near Marlinton, West Virginia. The inn is located on a working farm in an extremely rural and peaceful location. The surrounding area is mostly small family farms with some farms seemingly dating back generations. My wife and I decided to take a short trip just to get away ( boy this was getting away) for a few days and this was one of the sunrises I photographed while on a morning walk. West Virginia has some incredibly beautiful areas as well as some very rugged areas. Many locations are sparsely populated and a great place to enjoy nature and enjoy peace and tranquility.
