I hope you are all well and happy and enjoyed Christmas….Nice to relax after the festivities…we had sixteen for lunch on Christmas Day…three of my stepdaughters and their families…
I am sorry I have been absent for such a long time.but illness in the summer of 2024 and then we were in shock as we had to say goodbye to Charlie….he was suddenly not well and he had kidney failure….so within a week of his diagnoses had to send him over the rainbow bridge as he was by then in pain…both Peter and I have and are still suffering from our loss…Happy we still have Jack who was 13 last week…but he is blind and almost deaf now…but he is still happy in himself and doesn’t have any pain so we are happy to care for him as long as we can…

Also early in summer one of the neighbors got the ranger to trap and shoot the three foxes that were left…can’t tell you how that made me feel ….such cruelty I had never come across before in my lifetime…we don’t have any in the neighborhood now…

I just couldn’t face social media and buried myself in abstract art…for months…it was good therapy and as 2024 drew to a close we hoped for a better 2025…

On the 13th January we went for our yearly check ups to the doctors…Peter hadn’t been feeling well and the doctor sent him for many tests on his heart…I also had to have a heart ultrasound but it was as it should be for my age….in May Peter had 4 stents inserted through a vein in his right arm…such an amazing operation and can you believe he was home the same evening after the op…He recovered we and was back to work within the month…After gardening one afternoon in May…I was moving pots etc and pulled muscles in my chest and stomach area…;soo that too almost three months to heal…happy I am okay now…
