I have never used fill flash either.
My latest Canon camera, the R7 has not got a flash on it.
So it seems I will never have to learn now.

Fill flash perhaps? I have many shots that should have used it on bright days...
I never mastered it, even with my Cannon kit, and now only do iPhone snapshots.
Here is a favorite of my wife that could have used a tad... even after I lightened under her hat brim with a bit of adjustment in post. (Dr orders she wear hats as much as practicable, multiple facial skin cancers)
