Gavin Newsom didn’t just fail on homelessness — he ran one of the most expensive government scams in modern California history.

Under his watch, $24 BILLION was dumped into “homelessness programs” pulled from state funds, bonds, and endless emergency declarations. Californians were promised fewer tents, safer streets, and people actually getting help.

What did we get instead?
Tent cities everywhere.
Open drug use in broad daylight.
Crime, chaos, and entire neighborhoods abandoned.

Homelessness didn’t go down — it blew up. State and federal data show the homeless population increased by tens of thousands, including roughly 35,000 more people living on the streets while Newsom’s allies were cashing checks.

And here’s the kicker: audits admit the state can’t even track where much of the $24 billion went or what it accomplished. No metrics. No proof. No results. Just consultants, nonprofits, bureaucrats, and politically connected middlemen feeding at the trough.

Any CEO who lost $24 billion with worse outcomes would be fired, sued, and investigated.

You get glowing media coverage and rumors of a presidential run.
