This doe stopped for a rest in the back 40.
She was a little wary and I think she stopped because
she was shielded from sight lines in that spot.
She could hide in plain sight.
Also! We might be the only yard in the area that doesn't have a dog.
Last spring we were away for various reasons. We had a pair of
yearling bucks bedding down and browsing in our yard while we were away.
The only thing I noticed was they trimmed back a cherry hedge for me.
At least they worked off the room and board.
It was appreciated like all small acts of kindness should be...
