"Aracne e la Tessitrice" (Arachne and the Weaver) by Paride Tola - is a large sculpture dedicated to the weavers of Aggius.
Paride Tola was born and still lives in Aggius. He carves in Sardinian granite, the local stone of Gallura.
His workshop is located between the Aggius Mountains and the Valle delle Luna (The Moon Valley).
Paride subjects are usually real or imaginary characters of Aggius tradition, history and local culture that are transformed in his art in strict archaic figures, full of charm and mistery.
